The trouble is, they retro-dated it to start in June. But they put it all on the one pay cheque. This put me in a new tax bracket and all the retroactive pay was taken out in taxes. So really, it's like any other ordinary cheque. Which kind of sucks. Cause I'll only be working there long enough to get one more pay. But at least that one will be worth something.

And they could have just said "screw her, she's leaving, we'll keep her raise." So I am very grateful to get it, even if just for two weeks.

Besides I'll get it all back on my income tax... right?
