I mean what if they are in an accident or something. Or what if something happens to one of us kids and they have to be notified. Or worse yet. What if they went somewhere good, without me!

How completely frustrating. No note? No call?

I guess this stems from living with my mother for 20 years, during which I was required to announce where I was going and when I'd be back (even when going from one room to another).

Sometimes it's better that way. Knowing where everyone is. Makes me less nervous anyway.
